6.30 in the morning and setting off for the 7am Larkhall train. Have to pop in to work for a short meeting at 9 then I'm taking the 11am train from Glasgow Central to Newcastle. Should arrive Newcastle at 13.30 then a 10 mile cycle along NCN72 to the DFDS Ferry - which leaves for Ijmuiden at 17.00.
